I absolutely love fun, colorful brands like this. Coco contacted me wanting to rebrand her clothing company from a children’s boutique to a women’s brand.
The vibe is beachy, casual, cool clothing and I can’t wait to see what comes out in the shop!

Now I’m curious, which logo would you choose? 1, 2 or 3??

It’s been a minute since I’ve showed my face on here, so for anyone who is a new follower I’d like to introduce myself.

My name is Laura Rush. I live in Arizona, but I have a real love for the south and all things blue and white.

I graduated with my bachelors in Interior Design, but graphic design had also been a growing passion of mine while in school.

If you’re wondering how I got into graphic design here’s the story:

I was pretty much engaged and decided to start playing around with designing our own wedding invitation and found that I really enjoyed it.
Then we broke off the wedding... But I decided to take something from that and start my own wedding stationery business!
I didn’t have any brides yet and honestly had zero experience, so that summer (2010) I decided to design a bunch of faux invitations and sign up for a bridal show!

I purchased a booth slot, set it up and pretended like I had been doing it for a while ( right?). From there I booked my first clients! That fall was my final year in my interior design program, but I kept booking little expos and clients, worked as a server at a restaurant and went to school full time.

After school I went to Europe for a summer of study abroad in architecture, came back and shortly after moved to Charleston, SC which is where I was exposed to the style that truly spoke to me.

If you are feeling like you want to start something you are passionate about, but you’re not sure where to start, my advice for your is to just JUMP IN! There will never be a perfect time, but if you are moving forward, you will learn and you will grow. Everybody has to start somewhere.
