For Father’s Day this year, Jen & Reese surprised and gifted me with a new hobby! This instrument is known as a Woodrow and is made in Asheville NC (where Jen’s mom lives). We learned about Woodrows on our last visit at their shop in the historic Grove Arcade. The shop let us try them out and they proved to be a very easy instrument to learn. Having very limited musical talent, I was able to play “You Are My Sunshine” within 20 minutes. Now I get the chance to expand my repertoire. I’m thinking of starting with something simple like “Never Going Back Again” by Fleetwood Mac 😊
