As a Naturopathic Doctor who specializes in mental health, these are the moments that remind me why I chose this path👩‍⚕️🩺

The other day, I followed up with a teenage girl who had been struggling with severe depression, anxiety, and PMDD. After trying numerous medications to no avail, they were desperate for relief. Although skeptical of naturopathic medicine and homeopathy they were willing to try anything.

After 2 months of naturopathic treatment, her anxiety and depression had SIGNIFICANTLY improved along with multiple menstrual issues that had been debilitating in the past. This beautiful and brave girl was able to experience her 1st month without ANY suicidal thoughts for the first time in years. 🤯
She then relayed that she now feels like herself again. 🙏🏻

At the end of our appointment, mom came up to me with tears in her eyes stating, “thank you for bringing our daughter back to us again.” 🥹🥹
