Meet Foxtrot and Tango! Both are rescues and are doing wonderful inside the home. (Not for adoption) these are resident dogs.
Sarge’s Cane Corso Rescue exists because I couldn’t keep walking past dogs that everyone else had already given up on.
Cane Corsos and other large breeds are often labeled as “too aggressive,” “too much work,” or “unadoptable.” Many are abandoned, neglected, or surrendered simply because their owners were never prepared for the responsibility. I started this rescue to be the person who says yes when no one else will.
As a woman-owned, hands-on rescue, I work directly with each dog—placing them in foster homes where they can finally feel safe, receive structure, and learn how to trust again. These dogs are powerful, loyal, and incredibly intelligent, but they need proper guidance and patience. When they get that, they thrive.
This rescue is not about volume. It’s about doing it right. Every dog is treated as an individual. Every adoption is intentional. I educate adopters, provide ongoing support, and advocate fiercely for breeds that are misunderstood and unfairly judged. My goal is simple: save lives, change perceptions, and give these dogs the future they deserve.
