Shiny Stars

As we prepare for the inaugural Shiny Stars Summer Enrichment Camp, running from July 13th to July 24th, we are seeking a very small select group of high school and college students to serve as *Program Mentors*.

​This is an excellent opportunity for students to cultivate leadership skills while making a tangible impact on our local youth.

​As a Program Mentor, you will:

*​Gain Leadership Experience*: Assist in facilitating core curriculum modules, including Robotics, Chess, Art, Math.

*​Build Your Resume*: Receive an official Program Tutor & Mentor Service Certificate from Shiny Stars, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

*​Make a Difference*: Help create a memorable, educational summer experience for local students.

Since launching our Community Hygiene Drive, we’ve continued to grow thanks to the incredible support of our community!

New since our kickoff:

⭐ Elevate Ministry (Poplar Springs Christian Church)
⭐ Oak Park now serves as both a public collection site and a neighborhood collection site

Our updated flyer also includes the Hope Builders neighborhood collection network, with volunteers collecting throughout multiple Garner neighborhoods.

We’re also grateful for the financial donations we’ve already received—thank you! ❤️

Every donation and every item collected brings us one step closer to our goal of 1,700 deodorants and 1,700 body washes.

Please note: Angie’s Restaurant will be closed July 4–12 for their annual summer break. Physical donations can resume there when they reopen.

Please note: Angie’s Restaurant will be closed for their annual summer break July 4–12 and will not be accepting physical donations during that time. Financial donations through our campaign will continue to be accepted throughout the closure.
