IM EXTREMELY HONORED TO HONOR THESE AMAZING PEOPLE. OUR THEME OF GOLD ROSES IS TO HONOR PEOPLE WHILE THEY ARE STILL HERE. MR. PETTEWAY IS ONE OF MY GREATEST INSPIRATIONS. Honored to be excepting this award with two REAL BROTHERS. After Steven Benson fired me from Moody Gardens 18yrs ago lol. We are now being honored for our work in the community. I crack jokes on Steve but he was the first black man I seen handle his business on a professional level. He was from the hood but new how to lead and make the hire ups respect his voice at the table. Thank you for the wisdom you showed me. @ Old Central Cultural Center, Inc.
