✨ PLEASE READ & SHARE — I’m Running Out of Time ✨
My name is Christina McCormack, and today I filed an emergency stay to try to buy a little more time before eviction. I’m fighting an aggressive ependymoma brain tumor, and if I lose my home, I lose my treatment — and my chance to live.
I bike to work in Gainesville, FL. If I’m removed, I lose my job, my stability, and my ability to stay in care.
💛 Why this is urgent:
I’m a mom. My 10‑year‑old son is safe with my parents, but I cannot live with them. I want to live long enough to raise him. I’ve applied everywhere for help — every program, every nonprofit — and every door has closed.
🔥 A near‑fire shook me to my core:
A heat lamp fell and filled my home with smoke. My pets were trapped. If I had arrived minutes later, they would have died. Now eviction is days away, and I’m terrified.
🐾 My pets are my family:
Many are rescues, elderly, or traumatized. Most rentals don’t allow multiple or large dogs. If I lose my home, they could be taken to a shelter — and some may not survive.
🏡 If I can’t save my home, I need housing leads ASAP:
• $1300–$1500 budget
• Near Millhopper (I bike to work)
• Pet‑friendly (multiple dogs, including large breeds)
• Stand‑alone or well sound‑proofed
• Someone willing to work with imperfect credit
Even temporary housing could save my life.

Every share helps keep me alive.

My name is Christina, and I’m fighting for my life on every front. I’m a 37‑year‑old mom in Gainesville battling an aggressive brain tumor while facing eviction alone. Insurance denials drained everything, and even with my new job, I can’t stop the eviction in time.
Losing my home means losing my treatment, my rescue animals, and my chance to survive. I created a GoFundMe as my last lifeline. Any donation or share truly matters.

Thank you for seeing me and helping me keep fighting.

My name is Christina McCormack, and I’m fighting for my life. I’m a 37‑year‑old mom from Gainesville, FL, undergoing treatment for an aggressive ependymoma brain tumor at UF Health Cancer Hospital. My 10‑year‑old son is safe with my parents, but I cannot live with them — I’m facing cancer and eviction completely alone.
Insurance denials drained everything I had just to stay in treatment. I’ve applied to every program, every nonprofit, every resource. Every door has closed. My doctors have warned that if my treatment is interrupted even briefly, my already low survival odds drop even further.
Legal eviction papers have now been served. My deadline is approaching fast. If I lose my home, I lose my ability to continue treatment. My elderly and medically fragile rescue animals will be taken to a shelter. And I will have nowhere to go.
I’m not just trying to save a place to live — I’m trying to save my chance to survive.
I created a GoFundMe as my final lifeline. The link is in my bio. Donations and shares truly mean everything right now.
With gratitude,
Christina McCormack

⏳ Time is running out for a mother fighting brain cancer.
Please read and share before it’s too late.
As Mardi Gras fills the streets with color and celebration, I’m holding onto hope that someone out there will hear my story and help me keep fighting. While others shout “Laissez les bons temps rouler!”—let the good times roll—I’m praying for the chance to see better days myself.
I’m battling an aggressive brain tumor and fighting eviction, and I’m doing it alone. My chances of surviving beyond three years are small, and every day I’m denied help feels like another door closing. I’ve now been given a deadline to come up with the funds to save my home, and I am closer than ever to losing it.
A simple share through your followers, viewers, or community could genuinely be life or death for me.
Losing my home would drastically reduce my chances of beating the odds. I want nothing more than to survive for my son. And if I can’t, I want to spend whatever time I have left in a safe home—not on the streets—so I can create lasting memories with him.
Please, take a moment to read and share my story.
Your share could be the one that helps save my home and gives me the fighting chance I need.

My heartfelt wish this year is to safeguard my home and triumph over cancer. I'm holding onto hope that the new year will bring promise and stability, not uncertainty.
