If you are a student, you can decide to register to vote and cast your vote locally. Updating your Florida registration to vote in the Gainesville community will not affect your federal financial aid, status as a dependent on your parents’ taxes, or tuition status.

🚨 Out-of-stater Gators! 🚨 If you’ve updated your address to vote in Gainesville, remember: your out-of-state license is NOT an acceptable form of ID!

✅ Acceptable forms include:

•Florida driver’s license or ID card
•U.S. passport
•Signed debit/credit card (with a second ID that has a photo)
•Military ID
•Physical student ID (with a second ID that has a signature)

If your ID lacks a signature, you’ll need another that includes one. Bring two forms if needed! 🪪
