Dr. Jody Gookin, distinguished professor and internationally known expert in gastroenterology, is looking for dogs diagnosed with a developing gallbladder mucocele to try a free vitamin and low-fat feed regiment for a year.

Eep! Our hearts are full, our eyes are teary but the boys got to stay and go on foster tonight. I’ve never had two bonded kitty babies that deserved this more and it’s such a perfect fit so send them all the good vibes! 🫶❤️🫶

Oh Jack Jack!

It looks like we will be planning a dental for this little man, watching for a hernia near sc***um and then still helping him loose weight!

We’ve made a lot of positive work forward for Jack; getting him off oral prednisone and helping him on prescription food and then trying to work with him on his inhaler and his lungs. He takes about 4-5 meds a day and is a full need super senior.

He currently doesn’t have a monthly sponsor, but gosh he’d love one! He’s a special little boy and we love him so much!

We wanted to share his check up to show why we as for donations for certain foods, why our med bill is so high, why we pre-raise funds for dentals (he’s had THREE and his recovery is always a little hard and he needs cardiology BEFORE each surgery so it’s about $2500 for him to get each dental usually!).

But he’s worth it. They are all worth it. We will be working on monitoring him, getting his weight down and then planning for a post-summer dental/cardiology fundraiser for Mr. Jack Jack after his appt yesterday.
