Spent Veterans Day in Dallas, Texas with CreatiVets, where I had the incredible honor of attending the premiere of the new documentary “CreatiVets” Monday and then Tuesday performing our song “I Can’t Cry” at the Texas Legends Military Night home opener with my good friend and co-writer Chris Ferrara.

We wrote this song alongside Richard Casper and Major Andrew White, whose story inspired it. Working with CreatiVets is truly a blessing — to serve those who served for me is something I’ll always cherish. Using the gift of music God has blessed me with to help a veteran tell their story is one of the most powerful and humbling experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you Swypit and Kevin Hodges for sponsoring the night

I hope this song moves you like it moved us while writing it. Please share it with a veteran, a friend, or a family member, and encourage them to do the same.

God bless and Happy Veterans Day. 🇺🇸

Last week, I got to celebrate my birthday with friends, family, and some incredible musicians that I look up to. I have always treasured the stage, and I’m honored , the man who gave my start in this town, allowed me to put this night together. Thank you to everyone who helped me kick of my 40s in the only way possible. Love you all!

It’s a celebration, and you’re all invited!
June 30th is my birthday (a big one) and this year it falls on a Monday, which everyone in Nashville knows is , and I convinced to let me do a takeover! We’re going back to where it all began- the site of my first residency (which Ward booked me for). I’ll have all my boys with me, and I’ve brought in some of my favorite artists/friends to help me celebrate. This is going to be a special night for me, and I hope you’ll join us.
