This news follows a week full of monumental developments within League of Legends as the competition’s players association, the LCSPA, overwhelmingly voted in favour of a player walkout on Sunday night.

Game publisher Riot Games has announced that the first-ever Teamfight Tactics (TFT) LAN tournament will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada in December.

The event will occur at MGM Grand’s 850,000 sqft conference centre and features an open bracket format. In total, 512 spots are available for aspiring competitors from all backgrounds around the world. Details for how to obtain a competitor pass will be shared at a later date but there will be some priority given based on Set 9 ladder rankings.

Singapore-based esports organisation Paper Rex has announced a partnership with gaming furniture brand Secretlab.

The esports organisation announced the partnership across its social media channels, but did not disclose any particular details about the deal. According to One Esports, the two brands will work together on a custom-made gaming chair.
