At tonight’s concert in Farmington, a lovely couple in the audience who we’ve come to know a bit over the years, brought us a beautiful bouquet full of flowers from their garden, along with a card in honor of our 35th anniversary. How lucky we are!

Join us as we celebrate 35 years of the DaPonte String Quartet with an unforgettable gala concert at Bowdoin College.

Featuring guest artists Edwin Barker (bass) and Yuri Funahashi (piano), the evening includes a celebratory program of chamber music, culminating in a catered reception with remarks, stories, and reflections on 35 years of music-making in Maine.
