💙🐾 What an amazing day at the Middletown Library R.E.A.D. program!
We received this wonderful message after yesterday's event:
"We had Raymond and Mabel with us today here at Middletown and 31 folks (kids and adults) showed up and had a wonderful time reading to the dogs! Your team and their pups are just fantastic!"
A huge THANK YOU to Team Mabel and Team Raymond for your incredible dedication to Wags For Hope and our R.E.A.D. program. Your kindness, patience, and commitment help make every event a special experience for our young readers.
📚 What is R.E.A.D.? The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program pairs children with certified therapy dogs, creating a fun, relaxed, and judgment-free environment where readers can build confidence, improve their reading skills, and discover the joy of books. Our therapy dogs are wonderful listeners who help turn reading into an exciting adventure!
Seeing **31 readers—both children and adults—**join us is a reminder of the positive impact these amazing therapy dog teams have on our community.
Thank you to the Middletown Library for welcoming Wags For Hope, and thank you to everyone who came out to read with us. We can't wait to see you at our next R.E.A.D. event!

The Summer Reading Challenge was a huge success, and our therapy dog teams, Maple and Raymond, had the pleasure of listening to so many amazing young readers! ❤️🐶
Every page turned, every story shared, and every smile reminded us how special the Sit. Stay. Read. program is. Reading to a therapy dog helps build confidence, encourages a love of books, and makes reading a fun, positive experience for children of all ages.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by to read with our furry friends—we loved meeting each and every one of you! 📖🐾
