Tuscarora High School Principal Lisa Smith was emotional during her graduation address on Thursday as she described her special relationship with the Class of 2026.

For class President Hannah Zirk, graduation represented a launching point rather than a finish line.

"It means successfully creating and starting our careers, just kind of a jumping-off point of our careers and just kind of moving forward with our future into a next chapter," Zirk said.

"My greatest hope for you is that you will lean on traditions while seeking ways to do things better and to do things for good," Principal Jennifer Clements said in her remarks to the graduating class.
