BDR Express is searching for a full-time customer service representative / dispatcher that is organized, professional and highly motivated. Our ideal candidate would understand the trucking industry, have geographic knowledge of surrounding areas and provide excellent customer service to our clients. Having experience in transportation is ideal and willingness to take part in teambuilding is helpful.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Communicate with vast group of dedicated customers

· Updating status on shipments throughout the day

· Updating POD’s upon completion of shipment

· Working with dispatch platform (CXT)

· Tracking drivers utilizing GPS platform (Samsara)

· Setting the schedule for each day

· Finding potential shipment delays and alerting customers prior

· Setting up delivery appointments with receiving parties

· Working closely with the operations team to ensure plans are executed

CAPABILITIES:

· Strong understanding of Microsoft software ,especially Excel & Word

· Understanding of Google platform, Gmail, google sheets etc.

· Great organization, and record keeping

· Deep desire and understanding for high level Customer Service/ Dispatching

· Ability to succeed in fast paced environment

· Self-starter with the ability to problem solve quickly

· Strong focus and production abilities

· Great communication skills (both inner office and w/ customers)

· Ability to write professional emails to clients

Monday– Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
