Conner Nielsen - DFW Realtor
Most people think the first step in buying or selling a home is looking at houses or getting a price estimate.
It’s not.
The first thing I do is a simple consultation.
No pressure. No sales pitch.
Just a conversation.
I ask a handful of questions to understand where you are, where you want to go, and what you’re trying to accomplish.
We talk about things like:
• Your timeline
• Your goals
• What success looks like for you
• Any concerns or obstacles
• The best path forward
But it’s not just about me learning about you.
It’s also about setting expectations.
I want you to know exactly what I’ll be doing for you, what the process looks like, how we’ll communicate, and what you can expect from me every step of the way.
I never want a client wondering what’s happening or what comes next.
Whether you’re buying your first home, selling your current one, or doing both, I believe clarity creates confidence.
Sometimes the right move is now.
Sometimes it’s a year or two from now.
Either way, my goal is the same:
Help you make the best decision for your family, not the fastest decision.
The people who have the smoothest real estate experiences are usually the people who start with a plan. That’s exactly what this consultation is designed to do
One thing I’ve realized as a dad is that there will always be more work to do.
One more email.
One more phone call.
One more project.
One more thing on the to-do list.
But my kids don’t care about any of that.
They just want me to play.
The other day I stopped what I was doing for a little while and went outside with the kids. Nothing special. No big trip. No expensive activity. Just time together.
And it reminded me of something important.
Years from now, my kids probably won’t remember the emails I sent or the deals I closed.
But they’ll remember that Dad played with them.
They’ll remember that I was present.
I’m not perfect at it, and there are plenty of days I get it wrong. But I’m learning that some of the most important moments in life happen when we intentionally set aside what feels urgent and focus on what actually matters.
The work will still be there tomorrow.
These little years won’t.
