Did a 2 miles hike Introducing myself to the voters and leaving my literature. Met some great people and I got scared off by a dog…big dog!

I am no Politician, I am not a businessman or someone with an advance collage degree. I am a parent who is concerned about our declining proficiency levels in Math, reading and attendance. And all I want to do turn things around because students are the future of our beautiful nation. We need to provide to them the critical thinking skills and the ability to face challenges during adulthood with confidence and resilience.

Well, this evening I went and introduced myself to the community and finished 3 streets. Hearing some folks stories has been the best part of this. I have meet some really nice people and I meet some who wanted nothing to do with me. that is their right and it is ok.

The board meeting at Sonshine daycare went well, with the director's report sharing plenty of good news; I want to thank the staff for their hard work in keeping the kids engaged, safe and the daycare running smoothly.
