As a nonprofit leader and champion of arts and culture, Molly has spent more than a decade helping guide the Delaware Art Museum through significant growth and transformation. Since becoming Executive Director in 2021, she has continued to lead the organization with a focus on long-term strategy, audience engagement, and institutional relevance.
Molly will share how the Delaware Art Museum approached brand as a catalyst for lasting institutional change. She'll walk attendees through a 7+ year journey that began with audience personas, evolved into a comprehensive rebrand, and continues to influence strategic planning, programming, communications, and organizational decision-making today.

Is your brand making room to grow? 🪴
Every brand has legacy pieces that linger — old campaigns, outdated taglines, visual elements that feel “off” but never quite get replaced.
Sometimes we hold on out of habit. Sometimes it’s fear. Sometimes we don’t realize what’s holding us back until it’s already crowding out what could be growing.
At last year’s All About Brand conference, Rob Feinberg, CMO at PHS Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, shared a metaphor that stuck with our attendees:
“Roots are what anchor you. Shoots are where you play. Compost what doesn’t work.”
The strongest brands aren’t rigid — and they aren’t chaotic either. They’re grounded in clear values and strategy, while still leaving room to test, evolve, and adapt.
A simple exercise to try with your team:
🌱 Roots: What’s core, consistent, and essential?
🌿 Shoots: What are you experimenting with or testing?
🍂 Compost: What’s no longer serving your brand?
Not everything needs a complete overhaul — but some things do need to go.
Knowing what to keep, what to test, and what to let go of is a bigger part of brand management than most teams realize.
That was just one of many practical takeaways from last year’s conference.
