YMSL Fort Mill

Today, we're spotlighting our members Amy and Quinlan. They've been YMSL Fort Mill members for two years. As assistant secretary, Amy's had fun getting to know our mom members better. Quinlan has enjoyed serving as historian, looking back on all his class accomplished over the year.

Their most impactful YMSL memory is serving at Rice N Beans because they had the opportunity to work directly with the individuals this philanthropy serves. Quinlan shared, "Serving the less fortunate made me realize to not take things for granted."

These moms and young men joined the residents of Lavender Hills, a specialized memory care facility, for a fun rock painting craft. Together, they painted rocks to decorate their outdoor courtyard. Thank you all for sharing your time in such a meaningful way.

These moms and young men supported Miracle League's Summer Fun Fridays by helping out with bingo at Miracle Park. This philanthropy serves children with mental and physical disabilities. Great job, all!

This mom and son enjoyed their time together serving at Rice N Beans -- one of our chapter's most popular philanthropies that provides food and clothing to the homeless across the Charlotte area and internationally.

This crew had a great time volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. They packed boxes of bread for distribution and sorted other donations. Great job, team!

This group spent their Saturday helping out at Nothing Pink's art day for family and friends. Nothing Pink's mission is to advance education and support for genetic testing for hereditary breast and gynecological cancers. We are proud to support this effort!

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads in our community! Thank you for being strong role models for our young men and for holding down the fort so our moms can volunteer and keep our organization humming. We appreciate all that you do! 💙

Our philanthropy vice president represented YMSL Fort Mill at Community Partner Breakfast last month. As our Ultimate Gift recipient last year, our chapter served more than 500 hours with Tender Hearts. We value our partnership and the great work they are doing in York County and beyond.

We put our furniture-building skills to the test at The Life House women's shelter's newly renovated "Hope House." The Life House offers safe shelter, warm meals, access to laundry and shower services, fellowship, and case management to women in need.
