🚧 Construction on the Power Trail Harmony Crossing has begun! This connection — spanning from Golden Meadows Park to Keenland Drive — will provide a safe option for pedestrians and cyclists to pass under Harmony Road, finalizing a fully-connected Power Trail.

📅 The full trail is expected to be finished by Spring 2027, creating a continuous paved route from Trilby Road to the Spring Creek Trail.

It was great to take part in this and I look forward to additional tools that will help make housing more affordable.

Don’t let your election signs go to waste! 🚯 This year, Timberline Recycling Center (TRC) is accepting election signs for free. ✅ Check out the list below to see which can be recycled and how to recycle them. 👇🏻

♻️ Corrugated plastic signs can now be recycled at the TRC in the Hard-to-Recycle Materials Yard.
♻️ Plastic sleeve-style signs (made of stretchy plastic material like grocery bags) can be recycled as plastic film at the TRC.
♻️ Election signs made of cardboard or paperboard can be recycled in your curbside recycling bin or at TRC after removing the metal wicket.
♻️ Metal sign wickets on all types of signs can be recycled as scrap metal at local scrap metal dealers or taken to the TRC's Hard-to-Recycle Materials Yard.

ℹ️ Curious about other items? Check out the A–Z List at fcgov.com/AtoZ to learn how and where to recycle materials any time!

We did it! As we await official tallies, I want to say thank you to:

-The voters of the third district for your support. I will do my best to help lead our city forward, to be responsive to your concerns, and to keep our city a welcoming, dynamic place to live, work and play.

-My wife and kids who supported me on this crazy adventure and for your guidance (especially with social media!) and willingness to knock doors and drop lit!

-To Tricia Canonico for encouraging me to run and being a great mentor!

-Steve Yurash and Lance Smith for running clean campaigns and to their voters - I'll do my best to represent you and everyone else in the third!

-Contributors, volunteers (especially Ezriah), party hosts, those who displayed yard signs, and other elected officials and leaders for your support and endorsements. I could have done it without you!

-My Saucony trail runners for keeping my feet and legs relatively pain free while walking dozens of miles to knock on 3,000+ doors!

This is how a community supports each other. Way to go Friendly Nick's Butcher!
To donate to his cause:
https://gofund.me/3f5973e54

Please also consider a donation to the Food Bank for Larimer County to support those in our community who need assistance at this time.

I don't know how many people are facing food insecurity right now, but I know it's going to get worse, and I know that while it's in my power, I'm going to try and help. Friendly Nick's Butcher will be offering free meat to anyone who is losing their SNAP benefits or furloughed/working without pay during the shutdown.

1 # Ground Beef
1 # Pork Shoulder
1 # Chicken Breast
1 # Chicken Drums or Wings
1/2 Dozen Eggs.

All free, just show us your EBT or Federal ID card.

In 2 days, 42 million people will lose their SNAP benefits. And, that number doesn't count any of the federal workers who have been furloughed or worse, work without pay. 2700 of which live in Northern Colorado. And while not funding SNAP is 100% illegal, that doesn't seem to matter to any of the orange-nosed sycophants sucking up to a president as cruel and vulgar as this one. So I've decided to offer free meat to anyone affected by the lack of SNAP payments or furloughed through the callousness of stupid, fu***ng government.

I will do this as long as I can afford it. It ain't much, but hopefully it helps a family get through a week and spend their food budget on other, cheaper supplies that will last longer. I know that food banks are being overrun right now and this is my way to alleviate some pressure and help our community navigate this unprecedented bu****it.

I would appreciate if you shared this post and help me reach anyone who might need it. I have a small reach on social media and without the communities support I won't be able to help as many people.

*edit* People have asked about how to donate to help keep this offer going. I started a GoFundMe page to accept donations. I appreciate anything you might offer, however, please consider taking half of that offer and donating to the Food Banks, they can support more people, better, and faster than I can.

Thank You
Friendly Nick
