Getting a start on some homemade gifts this year. A scrappy fish light for an early Hanukkah gift made only a tiny dent in my scraps, but I loved using some of my favourite 12wt blue threads. The last few photos show some of the progress steps, minus the hand sewing-oops! The wooden fish kit was from and was probably intended to be painted, but I saw it’s destiny to become a scrappy fabric fish.
