Spring skiing is great and all, but having to walk a mile back to the car is never ideal, especially going on the 11th hour of the excursion.
😅
You can see the desperation in my eyes (and the sunburn on the rest of my face).

This is on the North Pole couloir above Arapahoe Basin Ski Area. The collection of couloirs on Abasin's East Wall are a fun way to get acquainted with skiing steep, technical terrain without the worry of backcountry avalanches, since they actively mitigate and assess the conditions. Getting to the couloirs is a thrilling, fairly short hike along a knife edge ridge, which I'll show in a fuller video soon!
