Are you a high school student in Forney who’s taken a graphic design class and wants to continue building your skills this summer? We’ve got a great opportunity for you!

What You’ll Do:
• Help with design projects for businesses and school organizations we partner with.
• Apply your design knowledge in a real-world setting.

What We’re Looking For:
• Basic understanding of design platforms such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and Canva.
• Creativity, reliability, and a passion for design.

Details:
• Flexible daytime hours (1–3 days a week)
• No weekends
• Located at The OC in Forney

Hello #ForneyFamily! Forney ISD will be closed Thursday, Jan. 9 out of an abundance of caution. With the current National Weather Service Winter Storm Warning for Kaufman County starting at 6 a.m. tomorrow with predictions of snow, sleet, ice, and temperatures hovering around freezing all day, Forney ISD made the decision to close with staff and student safety as a top priority. Students will not need to make up this day in the future. After-school and evening activities will also be cancelled. Coaches and sponsors will be in contact with students and their families. OC businesses may have different hours, delays or closings. Please check their individual websites or social media for updates on specific businesses. Please stay safe and warm. We’ll continue to monitor the weather and provide any updates on future delays or closures at a later time.
