This morning, I was honored to speak at Flower Mound’s Walk for Lives alongside families who have lost loved ones to fentanyl, the DEA, first responders, and community leaders.

Every life lost is someone’s son, daughter, brother, sister, or friend. We owe it to those families to keep fighting this epidemic through education, enforcement, and strong laws that protect our communities.

Thank you to everyone who organized today’s event and to those courageous families who shared their stories. Together, through education, awareness, and strong action, we can save lives.

Taking over my husband’s Facebook this morning to wish him and all the amazing dads out there a very Happy Father’s Day.

To my husband: thank you for being the kind of father who fills our home with laughter, the kind that makes even the hardest days feel lighter. But more than that, thank you for being the one our daughter knows she can turn to for advice, guidance, and steady wisdom as she navigates life.

Your love and care show up in a thousand quiet ways every single day. You are the steadfast rock in every storm, the anchor that keeps our family grounded no matter what comes our way. We are beyond blessed to have you.

Happy Father’s Day! We love you more than words can say.

Over the weekend, seniors across Texas walked across the stage and into the next chapter of their lives.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 on this incredible accomplishment. A special congratulations to my daughter, Cecilia, and all of her fellow graduates. Mindy and I are so proud of you.
