We still have a few spots open for our Growing Together: An Adult-Child Gardening Experience program.

Tuesday, June 2 from 10 - 11:30 AM.

Located at the Boone County Extension Environmental & Nature Center, 9101 Camp Ernst Road, Union KY.

This hands-on class is designed to bring adults and children closer through the joy of gardening. Participants will plant and take home a planter to nurture at home. This interactive experience fosters connection, creativity, and a shared appreciation for nature’s growth. Open to kids 4-12 with an accompanying adult (one container per group if the adult is bringing multiple children).

Get creative at the Boone County Arboretum this summer!

Children ages 3-5 can join the Boone County Extension Community Arts Agent to make music, work out the wiggles, and create an art project to take home. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration (required) for May 28 is open: https://bcarboretum.org/events/id/1249
