Still IAM Foundation

Father, it’s Wednesday, and I thank you for giving me another day. I thank you for all of the grace, mercy, favor, and victory that you have already prepared for me this day and the rest of the week. Today will be an incredible day, and I will complete the things that I’ve set out to do. I will meet all of my daily goals, and I will exceed all expectations in the name of Jesus I pray amen. 

So I’m driving to work this morning and I hear Holy Spirit say to me, “Dont spend more time perfecting your gift than you do with the father as it relates to your purpose”.
He says “Gifts are meant to edify the BODY of Christ, whereas your purpose provides YOU with fulfillment because it is what you were born for”.

With Christ being our example we are able to clearly see that the power he demonstrated through the gifts that came from the father, provided mankind with a tangible proof thus helping us to believe. However, in the garden, where he comes face-to-face with his purpose, (what he was born for) he clearly shows us that the two (gifts&pupose) are not synonymous.

Gifts = Assisting and helping the body/others.
Purpose = Requiring an intentional YES in spite of the cost.

So my prayer today is that while the father is helping us to affectively understand who we are in him, that he would also prepare and strengthen us for the day we come face-to-face with our purpose (what we were born for).
