Through a Pierce's Crew scholarship, Allison was able to receive funding for equine-assisted therapy—something that has made a meaningful difference in her life.

"The scholarship for equine horse-related therapy was very much needed, as I have struggled with many issues due to my rare disability, Wiedemann-Steiner Syndrome. I am one of fewer than 1,000 diagnosed. Areas I struggle with include communication, making friends, and mobility."

We are honored to help support Allison on her journey. Equine therapy provides opportunities to build confidence, improve communication skills, develop social connections, and strengthen mobility in a unique and encouraging environment.
