After surviving an overnight flight, we traded 93-degree sunburns for 55-degree soggy shoes. Then, we embarked on a thrilling adventure of buses, detours, and luggage-dragging marathons to our B&B. Bonus round: we got to play 'find the currency exchange' and 'SIM card scavenger hunt'! Oh, and my mom's phone decided to take a solo trip, but luckily, a kind stranger answered when we called it (thanks, stranger!). All before lunch! Afterwards my sister took a curb-diving lesson and earned a shiny new knee bruise. After all that 'fun,' we needed a nap. Waking up to a rainy view was the perfect excuse to go food-hunting.
