This is why every pattern needs to be tested before it's released. The botanicals around the daffodil are way too dark, and I realized this design will be too complicated for people who are brand new to embroidery. The center flowers will be larger, and most of the center botanicals are going to be omitted due to the complex nature of filling in such tiny spaces around them. I very much enjoy detailed embroidery work, and even I found them to be a bit too much to be truly enjoyable.

Happy pride month to all my fellow qu**rs!

I usually don't make this page personal, but I think it's important to share. I am gender-fluid non-binary, and demi/pansexual. Being both gender-q***r and demi/pan, I remember growing up sincerely thinking there was something deeply wrong with me. In my mind, I was "supposed" to feel like a woman or a man, I was "supposed" to look at someone and instantly know if I was attracted to them, but I didn't. Everyone around me seemed to know who they were and where their attractions fell. I didn't even know being non-binary and/or demi was a thing until I was in my 20s, and the click I felt when I learned of these concepts was equal parts terrifying and exciting.

I think this is important to share because I know there are other people out there who feel exactly the way I used to, and I want you to know that there is NOTHING wrong with you. Your existence brings diversity to humanity, and with diversity comes strength and beauty. Your existence is not just important, it's absolutely vital. The human experience is vast, and sharing our differences with each other can only expand our horizons. You are that expansion, and that is worthy of celebration. Stay q***r, my friends! 💜💚💛🧡♥️

This weekend at the Northwest Metaphysical Market was an absolute blast! One of my favorite parts of vending is meeting new people, and developing the connections I've made with fellow vendors. Heather Green with West Coast Witchcraft has truly fostered an inclusive and supportive culture within the market. A special thank you to her for how hard she always works to make these markets successful.

Charm and Moxie and Mushroom Moon Xstitch were the best vendor neighbors, and I LOVED getting to meet them on Saturday.

Karuna Gem - Tooth Gems & Teeth Whitening , who's been with the market since the beginning. I got a tooth gem from her that I am obsessed with, and she is just a kind human who is lovely to interact with. On top of that, she is very professional and describes what she's doing as she's doing it. As someone who has gotten quite a few body modifications over the years, this was a great experience!!

Chaos and Crumbs, holy cupcake what a bakery!! Yesterday I got a carrot cake cupcake that I ate before I had a chance to take pictures of it. I am very picky about frosting, especially cream cheese frosting, and I cannot even describe how smooth and delicious theirs was. I also got a pistachio brownie that sent me into sugar overload because it was so good I ate half of it even after eating the cupcake. Possibly my favorite part of their confectionery genius is that the decorative charms actually taste amazing because they are made out of chocolate! I despise the cheap decorative charms that taste like sugary cardboard so much that I almost didn't try one of theirs, but I'm SO GLAD I did! What a delightful surprise!
