From sailors to students, new candidates are looking to shake up West Virginia’s political landscape West Virginians on both sides of the aisle are stepping up and running for office for the first time.

🚒 Valley VFD is accepting donations for the citizens of Pleasant Valley that were affected from the flash flooding that has occurred. Cleaning supplies/water/food ect will be taken.

Doors will be open and members will be at the firehouse throughout today and tomorrow. If not here (on a call) please drop off supplies at the door!

Arrived home late last night from military orders to Japan to see my hometown being devastated by floods. Thankfully, my home and my family are safe, but so many Fairmont and nearby residents are not.

My heart is broken seeing what is happening in Worthington. This is unacceptable, and the fact elected officials knew this was an issue for decades and have not done anything about it is beyond shameful, and I hope I can help. I will be running against Phil Mallow for the House of Delegates in the 75th district during the 2026 election. I think his lack of leadership on this pressing issue speaks for himself.

I am hoping to communicate and collaborate with Mayor Emily Haddix, the city of Fairmont, and the city of Monongah to try and get resources allocated to the people of Worthington. I have also reached out to Governor Patrick Morrisey, the Department of Health and Human Resources, and the Department of Environmental Protection but have not received any response at the moment. I will keep you updated!

We the people are tired of leadership cutting regulations to let companies take advantage of us. If you think this stops with Worthington, you would be wrong. Worthington is the latest city in West Virginia to be sold away by politicians to lobbyists or companies. West Virginia is not for sale!! THE BUCK STOPS HERE.

I had the opportunity to join the committee’s cookout. I got chance introduce myself and the purpose of why I’m running and talk about how we need to protect the working class and not the wallets of the 1%. I believe a better tomorrow is possible. We just need to work on it every day and fight for what’s right no matter what!

I have been all over the world with the Navy, from sea to shining sea, but you, West Virginia, have always been my home among the hills. I truly believe West Virginia is the best state in this union, however, we have been sold short by politicians, corporations, and the 1%.

I have been praying, having conversations in the community and with my friends and family, and so
I am proud to announce I have officially made the decision to run for the 75th district of the House of Delegates!

The top down tax system is just in place to make the middle class smaller and keep most money with the 1%!

WV could capture this lightning in the bottle with the right leadership. We have almost an ideal weather to be able to supply the world with cannabis. People here in West Virginia smoke it already. The two things that would change is they would pay taxes on it and consumers would be able to buy from a reputable supplier; where they know it will not be laced with other deadly substances or chemicals. We are just hurting ourselves by not legalizing cannabis. We need to build a strong economy for generations but it all starts with the leadership we have.
