Eight rounds. Three movements. Eight reps each.
The rep count was low, but every rep demanded focus. The challenge today wasn’t surviving a single round, it was staying disciplined enough to keep your foot on the gas for all eight.
With quick transitions and just enough recovery between rounds, athletes had the chance to push pace while managing heavier weights and more challenging skills. Round one felt composed. Round eight felt very different.
That’s the magic of workouts like this: nothing is overwhelming on its own, but the accumulation tests your fitness, your pacing, and your mental toughness.
Threshold management, movement quality, and grit all wrapped into one nasty little package.
By the end, everyone was smoked and that’s exactly what we were after.
