The Designing Hope Project.

Thank you all for your help and letting me help you. Although I am officially closing The Designing Hope Project I would still love to help where and when I can. Please pm to my personal page if you need me.

As I posted earlier I am closing down The Designing Hope Project. We will be at storage on Thursday to organize it and make it easier to see what we have to gift. Let me know if yoh want to come by

It’s been an exciting week.

1. I met a wonderful woman this week who is a case worker for the White Horse Grant program at Carnegie Resource Center at 3001 Oakes Ave Everett. This program is to help parents navigate the court system when trying to reunite with there children after prison, rehab, etc. They have some interpreters on staff for those who’s primary language is not english. The Designing Hope Project will be assisting some of these individuals by providing essential home items such as kitchen ware and bedding. I am so excited.

2. I will be seeking a volunteer or 2 as we near the first. I am looking to change storage units from the 20x20 to something a bit smaller. The rent is killing me.

3. I have been collecting clothing anx.blankets for the homeless and newly homed. Please reach out if you have something to donatt or are in need of something. And thank you to those who have already donated.

4. I am searching for 3 vacuums for recently placed, through the White Horse Grant, moms and their kids. I will be seeking additional itsms as time goes forward

Hi all. Just a short post to say that it’s almost spring cleaning time. We need to sort and organize the Designing Hope Project storage units.

As we do this we will be giving away some older stuff to make room for newer things. Please watch our FB page Gifting from the Heart, Snohomish county.

We will also be looking for volunteers to assist us. Both Deb and myself are currently having physical issues that really slow us down. Please respond to this post if you are interested in helping out.

I must apologize for any delays in helping. I had to take the last couple months off for several reasons that I won’t go into right now. I am preparing to get back to it in March. Watch for coming updates.
