DID YOU KNOW? It costs about $264 to provide the standard medical care every cat needs before they’re ready for adoption. But more often than not, the cats who come through our doors need far more than that.

Right now, we’re caring for 150 cats and kittens, representing nearly $40,000 in the minimum medical care needed to prepare them for adoption. But that’s only the baseline. It doesn’t account for the cats on prescription diets, emergency offsite vet visits, specialized surgeries, long-term medications, specialty diagnostics, or the food, litter, and daily care required for cats who spend months with us.
