Brad for Encinitas City Council D4
E-Bikes have changed the way kids get around Encinitas, but our rules and regulations have not kept up. Keeping our streets safe is going to take a coordinated approach between our schools, city leaders, families, law enforcement, and state officials.
There are a lot of opinions and ideas out there, and we’re approaching this conversation with open minds and a focus on practical solutions.
We want to hear from you. What do you think needs to change?
Council missed a chance to cap the total number of vacation rentals in Encinitas last week, throwing away 5 years of work in the process.
Another great Arbor Day celebration. Enjoyed some beautiful weather, planted a few trees with , and picked up some free mulch. Really excited to see how this native grove at Hawk View park fills in over the years to come.

Ready to Listen. Ready to Lead.
It took me a while to land on a slogan for this campaign. But when we found it, it felt exactly right.
Too often in politics today, we see a “might makes right” mentality. The loudest voice wins. People get torn down instead of brought together.
We see it at the national level, and unfortunately that same tone has shown up here in Encinitas too.
I believe leadership should look different.
Listen to the community.
Listen to experts.
Ask good questions.
Then move forward with clarity and conviction.
That’s the kind of leadership I’m running to bring to Encinitas.
If you have thoughts about our city, I want to hear them.
Send me a DM or email anytime.
I’ve heard from a lot of residents about this in the last few days.
When people in your community are concerned, the job of leadership is to listen, not dismiss it.
