'Caught in Translation'. Yolande Snaith has just completed an intensive research laboratory at UC san Diego with an inspiring group of collaborators, focussed on practices of creating drawings / visual maps of somatic investigations, and translating / reading the outcomes into movement and music. Big thanks to dancers Alicia Peterson Baskel, Alejandro Abarca, Emily Christianson, Lillian Ransijn, Marcos Duran and musician Kristopher Apple, and to Loren Robertson for videography. A documentary will follow soon. Stay tuned.
New solo coming soon:
Of Body And Ghost - a collaboration between Yolande Snaith, Kris Apple and Roswitha Gerlitz
More soon
To all my IMAGOmoves followers, some who have known me for many years, and some who are recent connections, I have re-designed my website on Wii (very user friendly). After my computer crashed a few months ago I lost my entire website designs for both my personal and IMAGOmoves sites, so I decided to simplify and streamline into one website - so here it is with everything new and a more condensed archive of my work dating back to 1984. It is still in process and IMAGOmoves has its own page - see here:
