We’ve got some bittersweet news… 💔🍩

It is with full hearts and flour-dusted hands and aprons, we’re writing today with some bittersweet news: Sugared LEDGE Bakery’s last day of operations at our current location will be Sunday, August 24, 2025.

This decision didn’t come easily. After much thought and countless donuts, we’ve chosen not to renew the lease on our current space. While this cozy little spot has been the birthplace of so many sweet memories, it’s simply outgrown the dreams we have for our future. The space has become too small to support the level of creativity, care, and community we aim to serve—so, we’re packing up our mixers and searching for a new place to call home.

But don’t worry—this isn’t goodbye forever. Our ovens and socials may go silent, but behind the scenes, we’re actively working on finding a bigger, better space where Sugared LEDGE can rise again (like the best baked goods do).

We do not currently have a timeline in mind, but once we find the perfect spot, we will make future announcements via our Facebook and Instagram. Above all else, we want to say thank you, Omaha. Your support, smiles, and sugar-loving hearts have meant everything to us.

This community has been the icing on our cake, and we are endlessly grateful for every visit, celebration, and sweet moment we’ve shared together. Our last official day of operations is Sunday, August 24, 2025. Please come visit us for your favorite donuts and baked goods before then—we’d love to see you!

We’re kicking off the month by supporting our new Level-Up partner: Stable Hands—a nonprofit using equine-assisted therapy to bring healing to veterans, youth, survivors of trauma, and under-resourced families.

All month long, a portion of proceeds from our Appaloosa Donut of the Month will go directly to support Stable Hands’ life-changing programs in partnership with Unbridled Acres.
