As the Director, I take early childhood education to heart because I know just how important these first years are. Before becoming the Director of Small Miracles, I spent **21 years as a public school teacher**, helping students build the skills they needed to succeed. I understand what children need before they enter kindergarten, and I make it my mission to ensure they leave our center confident, capable, and ready to thrive.
My background includes:
🍎 Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education
🎓 Master's Degree in Educational Technology
🩺 Experience as a Home Care Nurse
These experiences have given me a unique understanding of children's educational, developmental, and individual needs. I believe learning should be exciting, engaging, and hands-on—but make no mistake, **learning is always our priority!** We create an environment where children laugh, explore, discover, and grow every single day.

Young students need structure. 💛 Structure helps create a day where they know what to expect, keeps them engaged, and gives them less time to get into things they shouldn’t. When little ones are busy, learning, and moving with purpose, it truly makes such a difference in their behavior, their focus, and their overall success.
As the director, I’ve been spending time working in our 2 1/2–3s classroom, and one thing that has been so important is keeping the students on a structured schedule. We change activities about every 10 minutes, and it has made such a difference! The students are happy, they’re engaged, they’re learning, and they’re staying busy in positive ways. From hands-on learning to movement and interaction, keeping them actively involved helps their day flow so much smoother.
At Small Miracles, we know that structure isn’t about being rigid—it’s about creating an environment where our little learners can thrive, feel secure, and enjoy learning every step of the way. And when they’re happy, engaged, and learning… that’s a win for everybody! ✨📚🖍️💕
