🎉 We had an incredible time at our Centro de Mayo Open House celebration at our Elgin Main Office!
Our community enjoyed music, food, and fun with their families while learning more about our programs and valuable resources.
A special shoutout to Grupo De Danza Folklorica Quetzaly for their amazing performance, and to Taqueria Chapala for the delicious food everyone enjoyed.

💐 Thank you to all who supported our 2026 Annual Spring Luncheon! It was a wonderful and meaningful event where we heard from our keynote, Peter Larsen, a Minneapolis civil rights attorney, about the impacts of federal immigration enforcement activity in our respective communities. We also recognized the Elgin Area Immigrant Alliance for the important work they are doing on the ground, as well as Cherryl Strathmann and Laurie Schmidgall for their generosity to Centro's mission.
