Get Up and Teach
05/23/2022
As the end of the year is in sight and emotions begin to rise, let’s remember a few things:
🍎 kids struggle with allowing their emotions to control them (some of adults are still in this boat as well)
🍎The end of the year brings a plethora of various emotions- both positive and negative
🍎Kids aren’t “bad” because they’re out of sorts. They’re just emotional kids.
So let’s treat them like emotional kids. Assure them you’re not angry- this will lower anxiety. Acknowledge their emotions- this will lower anxiety. Remind them of their purpose- this gives them a focus. Then, go!!!
You will need to repeat this several times a day as a reset, but it works!
If this was helpful, share it with a colleague! Happy End of year!
