A beautiful transformation from a backyard overgrown with invasive weeds, to a tranquil backyard garden. This planting design will create a lush and interesting garden, while still being low maintenance. I used a mix of native and ornamental plants to create a balance of seasonal interest. As the plants mature, the flowering rhododendrons will add another layer of height, allowing ferns and hostas to thrive underneath.

Autumn container refresh! 🍁🌸 Seasonal planters are a beautiful way to celebrate, as summer turns to fall.
To create planters that will last until frost, start with colorful year-round plants like Heuchera and Cordyline and mix in fall favorites like chrysanthemum, pansy and ornamental kale!

Sometimes there’s nothing better than taking a nap on a fresh lawn! 😴
Whether it’s an instant sod lawn installation or lawn seeding, it’s the soil preparation work that makes the biggest difference in new lawn health! September and October are great months for new lawns to be installed!

☀︎ This lawn was planted with locally grown tall fescue sod. This special blend is drought tolerant, requires less nitrogen, and has improved wear tolerance! ✅

A cobblestone walkway built for a certified native wildlife garden! This native landscape was taken over by quack grass (an extremely invasive grass). After the grass was removed, a walkway using new & used stones was built to add to the natural landscape vide and allow a usable entrance.
