When we went to back in March they had so many different games in their lobby and all our kids wanted to do was play games. We took some notes and grabbed some easy fun games, and I have a feeling one of our kids core memories from this summer is going to be how many times we’ve played Chinese checkers. We played it at a park, while camping, by the pool, and a million times right here on this coffee table!

You better believe I didn’t let a beautiful tablescape go to waste! While photos were taken for the magazine, this table was really meant for connection, gathering, and deepening relationships! Sharing this evening around the table with friends was the best part of all. So grateful for these moments and the people who make them meaningful.

Some more before and afters of this pool deck makeover! We kept the existing rug then added a new sectional and fresh pillows to update the space.

They also replaced the landscaping with low maintenance yuccas that look beautiful around the pool and make the whole space feel more modern and polished!

My favorite comment from my Mom as we were shopping while she was here for Mother’s Day:

“You shop with your client’s money like it’s your own.”

For this client I provided a design board for a Jack and Jill girls bathroom that included paint selection, countertops, a sconce, hardware, a rug, and plumbing fixtures. Not a ton of changes here, but such a difference!
