Mid-MWEP

Hey Lansing photographers, Andy Owen here! I got a message from a woman I have a lot of mutual friends with on Facebook about a need for volunteers for their organization. I don't want anyone to feel obligated, but it's a great cause, so if it's something you'd consider, I recommend at least talking to Kristy to learn more about it.
As I'm not a photographer, I couldn't help, but told her I would share it for her. Here's her message to me:

"I volunteer for an organization called Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS). Another one of your friends is the sole Lansing photographer for them, Kristy Taylor, and we're reaching out to other local photographers to see if they would like to volunteer their time as well. NILMDTS provides the gift of remembrance photography for parents suffering the loss of a baby. The work can be hard emotionally for obvious reasons, but it is also so rewarding. I, unfortunately, have had to use their services, and the photos we have are amazingly healing and beautiful and ones I will forever cherish.
Please don't feel obligated to volunteer because of our connections, I just wanted to touch base with you and see if you would like to talk to me or Kristy a bit more about it. There is a huge need in the Lansing area, but currently only one photographer.
