I always love what a beautiful refresh can do. This piece was in rough shape. I often wonder how these gorgeous pieces become so damaged. Instead of smashing it into smithereens further, it now is refreshed and gorgeous for many more years to come. I always get excited as the process moves along and the finish piece is revealing itself. I love all of the ta-da moments!

This week I'm working on a desk for a new Masters degree graduate. She's been a friend for a long time and I'm honored to work on something as she starts her new journey. A sophisticated desk with a little whimsy and girlyness of course. She's a special lady in my heart and deserves the best.

Amazon had one job.

Now I get to run and drop off a return and wait for a replacement. Why would they send porcelain handles in an envelope? Duh!

I'll have this beautiful tall dresser ready for Friday. The color, I'll admit, is quite pretty. I'm excited to see the finished look!
