✍️ His "why": I wrote my book to share my experience and educate people about how common, and how serious, it is when people are torn from their families. Your life is never the same again.
💭 Biggest challenges when writing: Reliving the loss of the most important people in my life, losing my freedom, and knowing people were willing to let me be put to death for something I had nothing to do with.
