Getting Josh Mickens to put his entire Music Industry capstone project into a recital and lecture, demonstrating how he created his digital compositions, then performed them live on stage with a full rhythm section and horns was immensely rewarding to witness. Kudos to Music Industry Coordinator Chris Visi and percussion professor Thomas Taylor! Congratulations Josh! You made us all proud. Watching your family gush with pride for you was one of the best feelings all semester for me ❤️
