Sometimes we leave the house and leave the dogs to their own devices. Here’s hoping we have a house to come home to.
Headed to the beach this summer? Be sure to start conversations with other dog people.
I’ve solved one of society’s greatest injustices:
Dog-ternity leave. 🐶
Rescue dog? One month.
Shelter puppy? Two weeks.
Adult foster dog? One week.
French Bulldog? Denied.
You’re gonna need the money.
Before anyone gets upset, this is obviously a joke. Mostly.
But if you’ve ever brought home a new dog, you know those first few weeks are chaos. Training, accidents, no sleep, and trying to convince a tiny furry criminal that socks are not food.
So what’s your verdict: should dog owners get dog-ternity leave?

Decided to convert the truck to run on treadmill energy. The good news is we save money at the gas pumps. The bad news is we are gonna need way more popcorn for calories.
