With the air quality index remaining in the "Dangerous" zone tomorrow, the Rover Bus will stay parked for the safety of our bus riding Rovers!
Daycare will resume as normal with playtime being strictly indoors!
Reminder to all parents to please keep your dogs safe during these terrible outdoor conditions!

Since we were stuck inside today, we also worked on basic commands and manners.
Our Rover of the Month, George, is a beautiful example of good treat manners. I don't even need to tell him to sit and wait. He already knows the drill!

🐾 BEHIND THE SCENES 🐾
When playtime is restricted to indoor play, I like to continue the stimulation with activities such as an obstacle course. Adding in my treat pouch as some extra incentive too!
This is also great for bonding and learning!

As the smoke from the Canadian wildfires makes its way south into and through Ohio, the quality of the air will decline throughout today and into tomorrow.
What does this mean for your dog?
- Limit outside time
- Do short potty breaks
- Do not walk or hike with your dog
- Keep all windows and doors shut
- During car rides, keep windows up
- Use extra precaution for your short-muzzled breeds
and dogs with medical conditions such as asthma,
heart disease and other conditions that affect the
heart and lungs
Keeping all of our Rovers SAFE and HEALTHY is our top priority! Tuscarawas County is currently in the "unhealthy" zone but this will decline as the day goes on.
The Rover Bus will not be running this afternoon!
Our outdoor playtime will be limited to potty breaks ONLY but we will be enjoying the AC inside for all fun activities!

Another wonderful visit to our Dover Library for storytime! Today was extra special....they shared some ice cream cups and I had the perfect helpers to give all of these rockin' Rovers their special treat!
