Had a wonderful time this morning with my fellow candidates at the Dickson County Mayor Forum. I want to thank the Dickson County Chamber and the Clement Railroad Museum for organizing this wonderful opportunity, Zach Kinslow and Donnie Weiss for moderating, Trey Stroud for time keeping, The Dickson First Methodist Church for hosting and their ladies for serving today. I especially want to thank all of the chamber members for submitting questions and attending on this chilly morning. I am happy to answer any questions from our community through this process as we work to move Dickson forward.

Dickson County is growing, and that’s a good thing! But with growth comes responsibility. As a candidate for County Mayor, I believe our challenge is to manage that growth in a way that preserves what we love about our home.
This means being proactive about our infrastructure, ensuring our schools have the support they need, and keeping our neighborhoods safe. I don't have all the answers, but I am committed to listening to you and working hard every day to earn the opportunity to serve this community.
Let’s build a brighter future for Dickson County, together.
Growth is coming to Dickson County, but if we don't budget for it now, we’ll all pay for it later. A balanced budget is more than just "breaking even" at the end of the year. It is about strategic investment in our future.
My vision for our county involves planning for infrastructure before we are overwhelmed, paying down our debt to lower interest costs for taxpayers, and making our departments more efficiently utilized. By keeping our financial house in order today, we ensure that our children can afford to live and work in the same county they grew up in.
There is something so special about the roots we plant here in Dickson County. 🏡 Whether you’ve been here for generations or you just unpacked your last box, we all have a story that ties us to this place.

What does a County Mayor actually do?
It’s more than just a title. It’s the role of Chief Executive Officer for our community.
From managing the county budget and overseeing public property to providing a unified vision for our departments, the Mayor’s job is to ensure Dickson County runs efficiently and responsibly.
I believe that work is too important to be clouded by partisan politics. I’m not running to move a party platform forward. I’m running to move Dickson County forward.

I’m Caleb Wray. Why am I running as an Independent for Mayor? Because at the end of the day, fixing our roads, supporting our schools, and managing our growth doesn’t have a "red" or "blue" solution. It has a LOCAL solution.

Thank you to Dickson Electric System for all their staff working around the clock to restore power to Dickson County & surrounding areas.
Thank you to our dedicated EMA & First Responders keeping our county safe and responding to those in need during this challenging weather event.
Everyone check on their loved ones and neighbors as outages continue, are expected through the day, and are not expected to all be restored for possibly multiple days.
For those, like myself, hunkering down at home, what are you doing to stay warm? For me, it’s reorganizing the cabinets!
Everyone stay as safe & warm as you can. I’m sure we are all ready for spring, which won’t be too far off!

We had a great time and turnout today for our Kickoff despite the weather and sickness going around the county!

We wish you a very Merry Christmas! I am sorry to have missed a few events the past couple of weeks, but I have been under the weather. I am grateful and thankful to be able to be with my family today. I hope today is a day where you are surrounded by your loved ones!
