I hear it all the time, those who say they train. Tell me how often they shoot. Talk about the gear and top of the line latest tech. Many stay focused on the tool they think will be there. The range time, the round count and the drills. All of it is important. Here's the thing no one talks about, the mental toughness needed to employe those tools. If the day arrives we need those skills here at home may god help us. Just so my range warriors know, take it from this aging grunt when i say "ya better be able to hump"
Ruck marches build stamina and toughness both physical and mental. No matter how many reps with a rifle or dead lifts at the gym. Rucking is just different on the body.
Don't forget to add this to your practice and or workout routine. Be ready! The time to find a weakness is not on the field of battle but in training. So you can fix it and improve. Learn what gear works and how best to carry it and utilize it.
