A California dealership alleged in federal court a customer defrauded it of more than $228,000 by selling two Range Rovers with odometers rolled back by more than 13,000 miles each — though both say the case is being settled.

Jaguar Land Rover Anaheim Hills claims it was duped when it bought a 2024 Range Rover Sport SV Edition One for $133,556 and a 2024 Range Rover P400 SE for $94,738 from Eman Abdallah in September 2025.

Abdallah said she is talking with the dealership about settling the dispute.

“We were already in conversation,” she told Automotive News. “We have a draft settlement.”

Dealership lawyer Robert Thomspon of Irvine, Calif., declined to comment because the case was resolved, he said. He did not provide any more details.

According to the store’s federal court complaint, the Sport SV’s odometer, paperwork and Carfax report showed 3,364 miles; the P400’s odometer, paperwork and Carfax report showed 3,793 miles.
